Throughout the weekend top chefs stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the best of regional culinary talent on the stage of Flavour Fest's Cookery Theatre, with a full programme of demonstrations and talks over the three day festival.

Passionate about local, fresh produce, JP takes every opportunity to showcase his expertise - mentoring junior chefs and delighting customers with his commitment to quality ingredients.

Chef Lecturer Richard Farleigh will be showcasing some of our top selling dishes from our College restaurant, PL1. Richard has worked in some of the South West’s top restaurants including a 6 year spell with the Tanner brothers at the prestigious Pristen house. He has been an advanced cookery lecturer at City College Plymouth for the last 16 years.

The demo will showcase the coastal flavors of the Indian peninsula like the states of Goa and Kerala, where the dishes are made with fragrant curry leaves, tangy tamarind, rich coconut, and bold spices. It would be either a Goan curry or a Keralan curry showcasing authentic cooking techniques, spices and a classic regional recipe from India.
